As an employee of an organisation you’re entitled to a proper contract of employment which should be supported by a Staff Handbook containing various policies.
Your employer should have proper Grievance and Disciplinary Procedures in place. If they fail to do this, they can be fined by a Tribunal. Also if they fail to follow these procedures there can be fines.
